Why we give.
God is generous and so He calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us is an act of worship and gratitude. It can also be a witness, and it helps the Church proclaim the gospel here on the campus, in the community, and the world. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances. Whether you are new to giving, or experiencing the joy of tithing - you will never out give God, and it is all greatly appreciated.

Planning your legacy
Legacy gift planning is a meaningful way to share the blessings God has entrusted to you while expressing the values and faith that have guided your life. Through thoughtful, prayerful planning today, you can support the ministries that matter most to you, leave a lasting legacy of faith, and set an example of Christian stewardship for your children, grandchildren, and future generations.
By making these decisions now, you ensure that your wishes are clearly communicated and faithfully carried out, relieving your loved ones of the burden of having to interpret or implement your intentions later. Most importantly, legacy planning allows you to direct a portion of God's blessings toward His work for years to come, helping Christ's light continue to shine through worship, outreach, education, and service long after your lifetime.
For many faithful Christians, legacy planning becomes a unique opportunity to experience the joy of giving in a way that is not always possible during their lifetime—creating an enduring witness to God's faithfulness and a lasting impact on generations yet to come.

A gift to the RBTS Endowment Fund helps ensure the mission of our church continues for generations to come. Endowment gifts are invested for long-term growth, creating a permanent source of support for ministry, outreach, education, and future opportunities. Whether through a current gift, appreciated assets, retirement funds, donor-advised funds, or a planned gift in your estate, your generosity can leave a lasting impact that extends far beyond today. Your legacy can help future generations know the love of Christ and experience the hope of the Gospel.

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) allows individuals and families to make charitable contributions to a dedicated giving account, receive any applicable tax benefits at the time of contribution, and then recommend grants to nonprofit organizations over time. If you already have a DAF, recommending a grant to our church is often as simple as logging into your account and selecting our congregation as the recipient. DAF giving can be used to support annual ministry needs, capital campaigns, special projects, missions, or our Endowment Fund, helping ensure that God's work continues both today and for future generations.

A Memorial or Honor Gift is a meaningful way to celebrate a loved one, recognize a special person, or give thanks to God for someone who has made a difference in your life. Memorial gifts are given in remembrance of someone who has passed away, while honor gifts recognize a living person, family, milestone, achievement, or special occasion. These gifts provide a lasting tribute while supporting the ministry and mission of our church. When making a Memorial or Honor Gift, please indicate the name of the individual being remembered or honored and, if desired, whether you would like notification of the gift sent to the family or honoree. Gift amounts will remain confidential unless otherwise requested.
