Am I Known for What I’m For or Against?
Series: ReOpening Christianity
Am I Known for What I am For or Against?
It can be so easy to look at others and judge them! We all struggle with self righteousness. As Jesus reminds us, however, judgment starts with discerning our own sins rather than decrying the sins of others. When we jump to judging others, it can be very difficult to be “for” them.
My Next Step(s):
- I will strive to be known for what I am for rather than what I am against.
- Because of Jesus, I will choose mercy.
- Because of Jesus, I will choose peace.
- Like Jesus, I will love the sinner, even if I hate the sin.
- I will act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God.
