BEING CHALLENGE: Choose Church
In the time when Jesus lived, the people assembled in either the temple or a synagogue. In all four Gospel accounts, on several different occasions, it is mentioned that Jesus was found at the temple or synagogues on a daily basis. Hebrews 10:25 exhorts us to “not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Church is not just something we do to feel good, it is an important spiritual habit that Jesus practiced and God’s Word encourages.
