Joyce Lucia Memorial Service: Wed. Dec. 11th

MEMORIAL SERVICE for Joyce Lucia will be held on Wed. Dec. 11^th at 1pm at Redeemer by the Sea. Joyce Lucia, beloved wife of Les Arbuckle, passed away at the age of 73 on November 5, 2024. Joyce was born in Massachusetts to Carlos and Alice Lucia. She had a long career as a Music Professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and moved to Carlsbad, with her husband Les, in 2014. Joyce was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, Class of 1968, and is survived by her husband, her sister Susan Lucia, and her stepdaughter, Emily Arbuckle.

CHILI COOK-OFF & MOVIE NIGHT – Men of Redeemer. Come on out for a night at Redeemer and vote for the RBTS Men’s Chili Champion. Men, battle it out for the coveted RBTS Grand Prize by bringing your famous chili to a Chili Cook-off, on Tues., Nov. 19^th at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome to come and bring your favorite chili fixins. Following the potluck, we will watch the movie “Unsung Hero” based on a true story about a mother’s faith against all odds.

HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF EFFORT: Thank you, Redeemer by the Sea. Due to your generosity, $7000 was collected during this campaign. With the $5000 match from Redeemer’ Mission Funds, a check was sent for $12,000 for Hurricane relief.
