Youth Confirmation Classes will be starting Sunday October 19th.  Classes will run in between services from 9:30am-10:15am and will complete in May.  For any questions, or if you would like to join, please reach out to Paul Oien or the church office here.

LWM MEETING AND PROGRAM ON OCT. 14^TH: The next business meeting for Lutheran Women in Mission (LWM) will be on Tues. Oct. 14^th at 9:30am. Then at 10:15am, our speaker will be Samantha Holt, Executive Director of The Armed Services YMCA Camp Pendleton. The YMCA’s programs empower young people, improve health and well-being, and provide support, and inspire action in our communities. This program looks to be quite informative. All are welcome to come find out more. 

 MOMCO is where Christian Moms come together to tackle motherhood, family and chaos management. Our Fall Kickoff is underway. The next session will be on Thurs. Oct. 9th at 9:30am.  Email Chase De Gaine for more information. 

REDEEMER BIRTHDAY CLUB: We will meet Tuesday, October 28th at 11:30am at Hennesey’s Tavern in The Village. All are welcome! We will be celebrating July, August and September birthdays.  Please RSVP Here so we can make a reservation.
 

CALL COMMITTEE UPDATE: We are planning for a now set visit of our top candidate, Pastor Eli Thomas. He will be in Carlsbad the weekend of November 8th-9th. The purpose of our Call Committee is to prayerfully search for the Pastor that God has already chosen for Redeemer, and this visit is to help all of us know if we are on the right path. The visit will include attendance at our worship services on November 9th, giving members a chance to meet and interact with him. He will be meeting with Redeemer leadership, and we will also take some time to introduce him to our beautiful community. Pastor Thomas is currently pastoring two Churches in Washington state, Grace Lutheran (Traditional) in Longview and Christ Community (Contemporary) in Ridgefield.
